Alumni and friends are a valued part of the Kellogg community. You are welcome to enjoy a coffee in the new College Hub, sign up for meals or join us for our termly schedule of social events and lectures. There are also events specifically for alumni: see our alumni events page to find out what’s coming up. If you are organising an event, why not consider our competitively priced hotel and conference facilities?
Eating in College
Alumni are most welcome to attend meals in College. The process is currently the same as for students, though there are plans to introduce a new system later this year. For lunch and informal dinner, sign in on the sheet as you enter, making sure you print your name in capitals and tick the box for ‘alumni’. For Guest Night Dinners, find the relevant dinner on the events list – www.kellogg.ox.ac.uk/events/ – and follow the instructions to submit a booking request. You will then be billed for all meals at the end of each term. (If a dinner is fully booked it is often worth joining the waiting list, though please note that you will be committed to paying for a place if it becomes vacant unless you withdraw before the cancellation deadline.) Costs per person are £10.50 for lunch, £12.50 for informal dinner and £37.00 (with alcohol) or £32.00 (without alcohol) for GNDs.
Alternatively, for an informal sandwich or coffee in a relaxed garden environment, try the new Hub Café. (Payment is by debit or credit card only.)
Hotel and conference facilities
Conveniently situated on a garden site within walking distance of the city centre, Kellogg offers a range of modern and competitively priced hotel and conference facilities. For further details, please view our conference pages or contact one of our friendly team. For conference bookings, please contact Shabaz Hussain, and for hotel bookings Charlotte Orton will be able to help. We are pleased to offer alumni a 10% discount on hotel accommodation.
The College Punt
Alumni are welcome to sign up for the College punt, which is available for use during the summer months. Click for full details of the punt and how to book.
Alumni membership cards
Your membership card entitles you to a wealth of benefits from access to colleges and libraries to discounts on books and dining. Cards are issued by the central University Alumni Office, not the College. If you have recently completed, your card will be sent to you automatically within a few months. If you need it sooner or left some time ago, you can request your card via the Oxford Alumni Card web page or email the Oxford University Alumni Office on email@example.com.
If you need to find your membership number and don’t have your card, it is stated within many of the central University’s emails or can be provide by the Oxford University Alumni Office – firstname.lastname@example.org.
Library and Information Resources
All Oxford graduates can apply for a free Bodleian card via the Bodleian Admissions Office.
If you would like to work in College, the College Hub is a good place to settle down with a coffee and your laptop. Alumni do not normally have access to the College Library, though requests to the Fellow Librarian (email@example.com), accompanied by a brief explanation of why access is needed, will be treated on a case-by-case basis.
Online resources for alumni
