Progress on the College Hub

The Hub will be the heart of the College, home to the Common Room and Cafe, and open to all College members. We are proud that it will be the first building in the University of Oxford to use the environmentally friendly Passivhaus design, which results in exceptionally low energy demand allied with the highest standards of occupant comfort.

Follow the progress of our new social space

Work is now well underway. A timelapse camera records activity so that College members can follow its progress wherever they might be in the world. The latest images are combined into a video and uploaded below. As much of the work is now internal, the videos will be uploaded less frequently as the completion date approaches.

Support the Campaign

We are seeking to raise funds towards the £2.4 million cost of the project. Major donations will be recognised via a donors’ wall in the new building. For transformative donations there is the opportunity for rooms to be named, as well as the building itself.
