Award for museum directed by Kellogg Fellow

30 April 2015

Our congratulations go to Paul Smith, Kellogg Fellow and Director of the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, and all at the museum for receiving an award at the National Museums and Heritage Awards. Paul says, “I’m delighted that the museum picked up the prize for best marketing campaign at the National Museums+Heritage Awards in London last night. This is a very well-deserved reward for the exceptional creativity and incredible hard work across the whole museum that went into the Goes to Town and Gone for a Pint projects during closure and the lead-up to re-opening. It is a particularly remarkable achievement because we were up against the large marketing departments (and budgets) of the Natural History Museum, the Imperial War Museum and the National Maritime Museum as other finalists in this category.”
