The shortlist has been announced for the Oxford University Students Union Teaching Awards 2016.

This year, five Fellows from Kellogg College are among the academics from across the University to make the shortlist.

Our Senior Tutor Professor Carl Heneghan and Fellows Professor Andrew Markham and Dr Johanna Waters, have been shortlisted in the “most acclaimed lecturer” category.

President Jonathan Michie and Fellow Dr Sandie Byrne have been shortlisted for the “outstanding supervisor” category.

The OUSU Teaching Awards provide students with direct opportunities to recognise excellence in teaching. Award winners are selected by a panel of students across six categories, with the winners used as examples to promote excellent teaching around Oxford.

Winners of this year’s awards are to be announced at a gala on 3rd May.
