The largest graduate college at the University of Oxford

20 March 2015

Kellogg College is now the largest graduate college within the University of Oxford, 25 years after our foundation in March 1990. A report compiled by the Student Data Management and Analysis team within the University’s Academic Administration Division shows that Kellogg has 838 students, more than any other of the seven graduate colleges.

The report also shows that we are the second largest of all the colleges within the University. We have four fewer students than the current largest college, which is St Catherine’s.

The report is based on a snapshot of the information held in Oxford University’s Student System (OSS) on the census date of 1st December. The 1st December census date forms the basis for the Higher Education Statistics (HESES) return, the Student Number Planning Exercise (SNP) and is used for internal resource allocation. You can read the full report on the University’s website.
