The legacy of slavery: invisibility, stereotyping & current ways of addressing this in TV & film

On Wednesday 29 May we welcomed Oxford University alumna Joy Richardson to College for an engaging talk, during which she reflected on her role in the BBC’s adaptation of Andrea Levy’s “The Long Song”, the legacy of slavery, history and racism, with Kellogg Fellow Yasmin Khan.
