The UN comes to Kellogg College

On Friday 12th June, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN Women Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka will be giving the 25th Anniversary Bynum Tudor Lecture entitled ‘Challenges Facing Women and Girls Globally’. Bynum Ellsworth Tudor, Jr., of Winston-Salem and Bald Head Island, NC was interested in genealogy and history, coming each year for 14 years to the University of Oxford to study at Kellogg College. Our series of annual lectures is named after him in recognition of his support for the College. Past speakers include: The Most Reverend Desmond Tutu, Sir Hector Sants, Lady Sylvia Jay, and Lord David Puttnam.
