Unpicking tricky terms to understand your health

Carl Heneghan, Senior Tutor and Professor of Evidence-Based Medicine,  has recorded a series of terminology guides for the BBC Radio 4 programme Inside Health, to help people understand the terminology used in medical research.

In the first of the series, Carl Heneghan and Margaret McCartney examine the terms causation and association. Future episodes will examine the terms, relative risk, absolute mortality and statistical significance.
