Crisanto is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the Engineering Science Department. He finished his PhD studies in Telecom engineering at University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) back in 2012. His Thesis was focused on the study of time hopping spread spectrum techniques to be used in wireless optical indoor systems.

He joined the Oxford Communication Research group in March 2013. His current research focuses on retroreflective free space optical wireless systems. He is also interested on non-mechanical beam steering systems, VLC (Visible Light Communication), digital communications schemes to implement both sensor and data networks.
