Guillaume works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Oncology with Prof Val Macaulay since 2015. His current research focuses on understanding the importance of DNA Damage Response and Replication Stress in Breast and Prostate Cancer treatment, early detection and risk reduction (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Guillaume_Rieunier).

Guillaume completed his PhD at Institut Curie, Paris, in the department of Genetics and Biology of Cancers. There he focused mainly on Oxidative Stress-associated phosphorylations. He also studied Biotechnology at AgroParisTech and at ENSAIA.

Apart from his role as a senior postdoc, Guillaume enjoys horse riding (eventing, dressage) and French cooking (vegan cakes and French verrines).
