After growing up in San Francisco, California, Jennifer came to the UK to complete a MRes in Psychology (University of Manchester) and a PhD in Epidemiology (Kings College London). Her previous research examined psychosocial influences on the development of mental and physical disease across the life course. She joined Oxford as a teaching and research fellow in epidemiology and statistics, and her current research examines the measurement and influence of smoking, alcohol and dietary habits on cardiovascular health.
