Lucy is an infectious disease epidemiologist specialising in the control of vector-borne diseases. A major focus of her work is on simple approaches to malaria control in Africa and Asia, including improvements to housing, urban planning and environmental management. She is also involved in the synthesis of evidence on interventions to inform global vector control policy. Lucy has a PhD from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and is supported by an MRC Fellowship within the Malaria Atlas Project, Oxford Big Data Institute.
