Órlaith is an Advanced Analytics Innovation Principal at The Dock, Accenture’s Global Innovation Hub (Dublin, Ireland). Her projects focus on the Healthcare and Life Sciences space. The Dock is a living breathing hive of research and development, based in Ireland’s technology heartland, committed to establishing a new, unique space to innovate ideas, disrupt conventions and design a better future.
Before moving home to Dublin, Órlaith spent six years at Oxford, as a Senior Statistician (consultant, researcher, lecturer) at the Nuffield Department of Population Health and, before that, the Department of Statistics. She was lead statistician and advisor for global research teams, as well as a module lead and lecturer on the MSc in Global Health Sciences and MSc in Applied Statistics. Now I’m leading teams investigating how to transform functions for Accenture’s Health and Life Sciences clients, using Artificial Intelligence, Design Thinking and disruptive technologies.
Órlaith was JRF at Kellogg College for 3 years, before becoming a fully-fledged Fellow in 2013. She was also Chamberlaine during this time – a role that she very much enjoyed.
