Stay at Kellogg College
We offer short-term accommodation at Donald Michie House.

The short-term accommodation at Donald Michie House, 12 Bradmore Road, contains 14 spacious, en-suite bedrooms, which have been beautifully finished. There are a range of rooms available, including single, double and large double/twin rooms, which are ideal for guests who wish to book single or double occupancy. Twin rooms may be shared, but the booking can only be made in one name.
The property backs onto the College grounds and is part of our Norham Manor site, which is close to most University departments and libraries, as well as the city centre, making Kellogg College a desirable place to stay for short visits.
Residents can also enjoy the view that overlooks the main College site. The College Dining Hall is a short stroll across the gardens, where you can have lunch and dinner on weekdays and occasional weekend brunches during term-time.
Each room includes the following:
- Linen and bedding
- Flat- screen television
- Tea and coffee making facilities
- En-suite facilities
- Wi-Fi provision, via the University’s IT Network for members of the University. Visitor’s internet access is available upon request.
- Desk, ideal for occupants who wish to study on site.
- 24hour access to Kellogg College
- Shared kitchen facilities, for those residents wishing to be self-catered during their stay.
- Spacious communal lounge/dining room, providing the space for those occupants who wish to meet other visitors.
- Welcome pack, with information on who to contact for what, fire safety and facilities at Donald Michie House, which we hope will assist your stay.
- While parking is not permitted on site, unless an occupant is a Blue Badge parking permit holder, we do provide numerous sheltered bike racks for residents.
Students of Kellogg College receive a 25% discount when they book a room at Donald Michie House.
Alumni of Kellogg College receive a 10% discount when they book a room at Donald Michie House.
Any guest residing at Donald Michie House for 7 nights or more will receive a 10% discount.
A complimentary brunch is offered during term-time to those guests who are either residing at 12 Bradmore Road at the weekend or upon an occupant’s vacation of accommodation at the weekend.
How to Book a Room
Bookings can be made up to six months in advance with a maximum stay of 14 consecutive nights. Please note Kellogg College is only able to offer long-term accommodation on site for full-time, Kellogg students. Please visit the long-term accommodation page for further information.
If you are a member of Kellogg College and would like to make a booking enquiry, please complete the online booking form with as much information as possible. Following this, you will be contacted by the Accommodation Officer who will provide you with further details on availability, costs, and terms & conditions.

Guests may book more than one room subject to availability.
Please note that a booking will not be accepted after 15:00 on the day of arrival.
Payment is required within 7 days following your reservation confirmation email, and can be made easily via the Oxford University online shop. Payment secures the room booking.
How to cancel your booking
If you wish to cancel or change your booking we will require a notice period of 14 days prior to arrival. Failure to do so is subject to charges being applied.
14 days prior to arrival – 75% will be refunded
10 days prior to arrival – 50% will be refunded
7 days prior to arrival – no refund available
Cancellations must be sent in writing to email@example.com One booking change is permitted free of charge and subsequent changes less than 7 days prior to arrival will be subject to an administration charge of £10.00.
Arriving at Kellogg College for your stay
Check-in is at 13:00 and check-out is at 10:00. Guests are welcome to leave any personal items at reception if they arrive before 13:00.
Upon your arrival please visit the main reception at 60 Banbury Road, to collect your key card between 13:00 – 17:00. Kellogg College does not operate a 24-hour service, therefore please contact the Accommodation Officer via firstname.lastname@example.org, if you are expecting to arrive after 17:00, and you will be notified of the out of hours key collection procedure.

Please note children under the age of 14 years are not permitted to stay in accommodation at Kellogg College. If you wish to book a family room for a short stay, please contact the Accommodation Officer via email@example.com Please note that cots are not provided.
