Campaign Associate – Tele Fundraising
In September 2015, Kellogg College ran the first ever Telephone fundraising campaign in collaboration with the University of Oxford. The Campaign was very successful and employed 6 student callers who raised close to £30,000 for scholarships and student support at Kellogg College. We are looking to run a second Campaign in September 2016 18th to 2nd October to consolidate on the success of the first Campaign and to raise funds for student support including scholarships and new student facilities such as the new College Hub.
Telephone fundraising campaigns play an important role in the College’s and the University’s overall fundraising strategy. They ensure students and researchers are supported throughout their time at Oxford and have the resources necessary to excel, consolidating the University of Oxford’s reputation as a world-leading research centre. In 2015, The University contacted over 2,600 alumni and raised over £400,000 during three campaigns, building the strong history of Telethon fundraising achievements at Oxford University.
The September 2016 Kellogg College Telethon will support student scholarships and the student support fund. Our aim in this campaign is to raise the funds needed to fully fund an additional scholarship, giving the opportunity for a talented student to study at Kellogg who may otherwise be unable to and also to increase the provisions for student on-site facilities, creating a new Common Room for the students, alumni and staff on the College grounds.
As Campaign Associate, your role will involve contacting Kellogg College alumni to develop the relationship, inform them of the latest news and upcoming events, ask if they are able to make a donation, and update their contact details.
