Communications Manager (maternity cover)
Grade 7: £32,236 – £39,609 p.a.
Kellogg College is one of Oxford University’s largest and most international graduate colleges and has a unique mix of students: it is the University’s leading college for students reading for degrees on a part-time basis, and has a strong and vibrant body of full-time students.
Kellogg is seeking to recruit a maternity leave cover Communications Manager. The Communications Manager is responsible for managing all internal and external communications including the College’s website. The post-holder will service the Communications Committee and work with its members on identifying and delivering a broad range of College communications. This role operates across all areas of College business and includes delivering day-to-day communications activities as well as contributing to strategic planning. The Communications Manager oversees the work of the Communications Assistant and reports directly to the Finance Bursar.
This role requires excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrable experience of print production management and working with website content management systems, email marketing software, and social media platforms is required.
This post is to cover the absence of the substantive post-holder who is taking a period of maternity, adoption or shared parental leave. The post is available until 22 March 2020 or the actual return of the substantive post-holder, or the resignation of the substantive post-holder and employment of a new post-holder, whichever is the earliest.
