Communications Officer (maternity cover)

Grade 6: £27,328 – £32,600 p.a. (pro rata for part-time appointments)
Kellogg College is one of Oxford University’s largest and most international graduate colleges and has a unique mix of students: it is the University’s leading college for students reading for degrees on a part-time basis, and has a strong and vibrant body of full-time students.

Kellogg is seeking to recruit a Communications Officer. The Communications Officer is responsible for producing the College’s publications, and managing all internal and external communications including the College’s website. The postholder will service the Communications Committee and work with its members on identifying and delivering a broad range of College communications. This role operates across all areas of College business and includes delivering day-to-day communications activities as well as contributing to strategic planning. The Communications Officer reports directly to the Finance Bursar.

This role requires excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrable experience of print production management and working with website content management systems, email marketing software, and social media platforms is required.

This is a fixed-term position to cover maternity leave. Applications for both full-time and part-time working will be considered. The post is to start in late August and it is expected that the contract will be offered until September 2017.
