Alumni Weekend Event: Discussion and Roundtable with Tara Stubbs: What Good are the Humanities?
There has been much debate in higher education recently concerning the value of Humanities subjects, both at university and in the world of work. But ‘being human’ is central to our understanding of how to live in the world.
In this round-table discussion, Kellogg fellows from across the Humanities and the Medical Sciences will debate the question ‘What good are the Humanities?’ Each panelist will be asked to respond to the question in turn, and then we will open up the subject for debate and discussion.
