Diana Wood

Dr Diana Wood was a Kellogg College Common Room Member and a great benefactor of the College. Diana was a distinguished scholar and inspirational teacher of medieval history and was Course Director and Lecturer in Local History in the Oxford Department for Continuing Education. Her benefaction to Kellogg helped establish Kellogg’s first fully-endowed doctoral scholarship. Diana also had a passion for music, particularly as a choral singer, and her generosity enables us to stage a concert each year to be enjoyed by the Kellogg and Oxford communities.

It was Diana’s wish that an annual concert be held in memory of her mother Hilda Smart. The concert is named in Diana’s honour recognising her contribution to Kellogg and Oxford.
