GCHU Public Seminar: Managing migration: cities, governance, integration

This is the latest of a series of public seminars on the theme of ‘Healthy Cities’, launched as part of the new Global Centre on Healthcare and Urbanisation at Kellogg. The Centre has been established to promote opportunities for students, researchers, practitioners, and members of the public to engage with the pressing global issues of healthcare and urbanisation.

Each event encourages lively public debate and engagement on topical issues of healthcare and urban living. At this seminar on ‘Managing migration:
cities, governance, integration’, invited speakers will each respond to the question: How can cities engage with managing gobal migration flows and social integration?

After pitching initial thoughts, panel and audience members will discuss whether migration should be ‘managed’, and what makes for socially ‘healthy’ cities?

Refreshments will be served from 5:00pm
