Kellogg College Progress Scholarship 2017

Kellogg College is pleased to offer the Kellogg College Progress Scholarship to support a student starting full-time DPhil study in the academic year 2017, having completed, or is currently completing, a Masters course at Kellogg College.

The value of the award is equivalent to the college fee plus £5,000 per annum and complimentary meals in College. The Progress Scholarship is tenable over the full course of study, coterminous with college fee liability. The annual college fee for 2017 is £3,021. Annual renewal of the award will depend on academic progress and involvement in College life.

The Kellogg College Progress Scholarship is only tenable at Kellogg College and applicants must choose Kellogg as their first choice college on their application. The Kellogg College Progress Scholar will receive priority consideration for Kellogg College accommodation in their first year of study.

Applicants should complete the Kellogg Progress Scholarship application form 2017 and email it to scholarships@kellogg.ox.ac.uk

A reference from an academic referee involved in the applicant’s most recent academic studies explaining why they believe that the academic excellence of the applicant is so outstanding as to merit the award of the Kellogg College Progress Scholarship must be provided. Referees should send the reference by email directly to scholarships@kellogg.ox.ac.uk

The application and the reference must both arrive no later than Friday 28 April 2017. You do not need to have received an offer for your course by the application deadline but the course offer must be received in time for the application to be considered by the awarding panel shortly after this deadline.

The awarding panel will make awards in relation to applications received by Friday 28 April 2017. The awarding panel may also consider the information that a candidate supplied when applying for their programme of study in Oxford. In some cases, applications may be followed up by telephone. Please do not send additional documents as these will not be considered.

The College hopes to notify applicants about the outcome of their application approximately one month after the application deadline.
