Breaking Down the Travel Writing Genre

Join us for the next in the Kellogg Centre for Creative Writing seminar series.
Sophy Roberts is a writer based in West Dorset. An alumna of the Kellogg College Centre for Creative Writing, she is also a graduate of Oxford University and the Columbia School of Journalism. Sophy is a regular contributor on travel conservation issues to The Financial Times, among other titles. Sophy’s writing focuses on remote places, from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Chad, to Tajikistan and Russia. Her critically acclaimed first book, The Lost Pianos of Siberia, was published in 2020.
This seminar is open to all, no booking necessary.
Refreshments will be served from 17:00, the seminar will begin at 17:30.
