Meeting Minds through Objects: Puppetry, Imagination and Empathy

Mervyn Millar has worked internationally developing puppetry techniques and characters for shows like War Horse, My Neighbour Totoro, and Circus 1903, discusses our compulsion to connect, the neuroscience of recognising another mind, the act of watching, and how objects and puppets can make us feel deep emotions despite ourselves.
