Meeting Minds: What creates healthy cities?

Dr David Howard and Dr Juliet Carpenter outline some of the cutting edge research that the Global Centre on Healthcare and Urbanisation (GCHU) has been leading, to address key societal challenges of the 21st century around sustainable urban development and health and wellbeing.
About Dr Juliet Carpenter:
Juliet is a Research Fellow at the Global Centre on Healthcare and Urbanisation (GCHU) at Kellogg College. She works at the interface of debates within urban planning, geography, political science and urban sociology, with a particular interest in the concept of urban social sustainability and the method of Co-Creation.
About Dr David Howard:
David is an urban geographer with research interests in sustainable urbanism, and contemporary Caribbean and Latin American societies, with a specific focus on informality, security, and access to basic services and housing.
