Short Book Book Club

The Short-book Book Club meets in the Hub each term and reads books no longer than 200 pages. All College members are welcome to attend.

The next book for the book club is a longer vacation read, as is customary. The chosen book is William Boyd’s ‘extraordinary novel’ The New Confessions, the autobiography of John James Todd, whose uncanny and exhilarating life as one of the most unappreciated geniuses of the twentieth century is equal parts Laurence Stern, Charles Dickens, Robertson Davies, and Saul Bellow, and a hundred percent William Boyd.
