Stefano is a scientist with a great passion for innovation. He is currently a researcher within the Data, Knowledge, and Action theme, which encompasses Databases, Semantic Technologies, and Knowledge Representation and Reasoning. Specifically, he is part of the KRR group, that covers a wide range of topics, from knowledge representation formalisms and ontology languages to the design, development and optimisation of reasoning systems, including their applications in areas such as the Semantic Web.

His research primarily explores how Artificial Intelligence methods can enhance knowledge management and reasoning in non-conventional environments, addressing both theoretical foundations and practical applications by bridging academic and industrial contexts.
