Join us for an interactive session focused on fostering an inclusive and supportive student community at University of Oxford and Kellogg.
One of the things we love most about Kellogg is its large and diverse community, and we’re committed to creating a safe and respectful environment where everyone feels like they belong. This session provides an engaging overview of equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), exploring how these values shape both academic and social life.
Through group discussions and real-world scenarios, we’ll look at EDI-related challenges and learn how we can work together to build a welcoming space for all.
This is a valuable chance to connect and learn more about fostering an inclusive environment to make a positive difference!
Speakers/session leaders:
Tim Soutphommasane is Chief Diversity Officer at the University of Oxford and Professor of Practice in Human Rights and Political Theory.
Professor Karla Miller, Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Associate Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion at the Medical Sciences Division.
Pri Drummond is Kellogg’s Academic Advisor (Wellbeing and Funding). She organises events designed to enhance the student experience and progress meetings for on-course students. She also deals with scholarships, awards, and financial assistance grants, and manages Kellogg’s disability fund.
