What is good writing? And how can you make your academic writing shine?

All Kellogg students are invited to join this online event with novelist, journalist, and writing mentor Katy Regan, the Royal Literary Fund Fellow and Writer in Residence at Kellogg College.

During this engaging online workshop, Katy will be drawing on her experience as a professional, published writer to share insights into what makes writing truly compelling, clear and authoritative, and how these principles can elevate your work.

She’ll be discussing the art of hooking your reader in (and keeping them hooked!), forming a solid, logical argument and how to give your academic writing the X-factor.

She will also introduce the on-campus, one-to-one support she offers to Kellogg students from all disciplines, where you can discuss your academic writing in more detail.

The session will conclude with a Q&A.
