Included in our annual programme are the Bynum Tudor Lecture, the Vincent Strudwick Lecture, the Anne McLaren Lecture, and the Kellogg Global Centre on Health and Urbanisation’s seminar series. Further information about these lectures can be found below.

The Bynum Tudor Fellowship is the highest honour the College can bestow. It was established in 2004 as part of the College’s mission to engage with influential thinkers and experienced practitioners in business, policy making, and culture. The Bynum Tudor Fellowship is named in honour of the late North Carolina community leader Bynum E. Tudor Jr. and Mrs JoAnna Tudor, both generous supporters of Kellogg.

The lifelong Fellowship is awarded annually and recipients are invited to give a lecture at the beginning of that particular academic year. Recipients include, His Majesty King Charles III, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Lord David Puttnam of Queensgate CBE, and Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka.

Canon Vincent Strudwick is an Honorary Fellow of Kellogg and is a British theologian and educationalist.

The Vincent Strudwick Lecture is held in honour of his work and features eminent theologians. The Graduate Theological Foundation is the commissioning sponsor for this annual lecture series.

Anne McLaren’s work helped led to human in vitro fertilisation (IVF). She received many honours for her contributions to science, and became the first-ever woman Officer of the Royal Society, when she was made Foreign Secretary, then Vice-President. She was a Trustee of the Oxford International Biomedical Centre, which commissioned this annual lecture.

The Kellogg’s Global Centre on Healthcare and Urbanisation(GCHU) seminar series brings together a mix of academics, practitioners, students and members of the public interested in cities and city-living.

Held in conjunction with The Prince’s Foundation, the main aim is to provoke discussion and constructive action, linking current best practice in urban development and emerging areas of research.

The talks are open to all, and are centred on evidence-based knowledge and an ethos of research-practice-educate.

Before the founding of the GCHU in 2020, this series was known as the Kellogg Urban Knowledge Exchange (KUKE).
