Ruskin Lecture: From Brantwood to Banbury Road - watch the film
February 18, 2022
Every year, Kellogg holds the Ruskin lecture in celebration of the friendship between writer, artist and social reformer, John Ruskin and the original resident of number 62 Banbury Road, the clergyman and artist, Reverend Richard St John Tyrwhitt.
This year marks the 150th anniversary of Ruskin’s move to the Lake District estate of Brantwood on the edge of Coniston.
To mark this, Brantwood’s director and Ruskin expert, Howard Hull joined Kellogg Emeritus Fellow and architectural historian, Geoffrey Tyack for this ‘in conversation’.
