Kellogg College

Alison joined Kellogg College as Director of Communications in January 2025.

Alison has a long history of working in communications and leadership roles across Oxford, including as Head of Communications at the Oxford Martin School and Blavatnik School of Government, and as a consultant through a company she founded to support organisations going through periods of change and growth. In more recent roles, Alison has worked with the Governing Bodies of Worcester College and St Hilda’s College on projects related to governance, strategy and organisational change.

The Communications team is responsible for the College’s branding and messaging, helping to build and maintain connections among students, staff, fellows and alumni, while building the College’s reputation. They handle everything from social media and newsletters to press releases and website content, ensuring the College’s achievements and opportunities reach key audiences. Their work is crucial for student recruitment, alumni engagement, and positioning the College as a leader in the field of flexible and inclusive graduate education.
