Andrew is a data scientist in QResearch and has a background in public health, epidemiology, environmental health, medical history, early childhood development, and infectious disease. Before joining Queen Mary, he worked as a data scientist/researcher in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences. Andrew also worked as an epidemiologist in the UK Health Security Agency’s COVID-19 Epidemiology Cell during the emergency phase of the pandemic.

Prior to emigrating to the UK, he spent four years working as a research consultant for Alacrity Development in Cape Town, South Africa. He also worked as a research assistant in the Centre for Environmental and Occupational Health at the University of Cape Town. Andrew is a registered Public Health Practitioner with the Faculty of Public Health in London.
