Ben heath is an ACA-qualified accountant having graduated from Cambridge University graduate. After qualifying with Deloitte Haskins & Sells , he worked for a series of blue chip companies producing statutory and management accounts and providing financial and business advice to a range of stakeholders and customers.

He has been at University of Oxford for 18 years, progressing from Head of Financial Reporting to Director of Technical Accounting & Reporting, producing the University financial statements and being responsible for tax, Treasury and financial controls.

Ben Has recently moved to Nuffield Department of Medicine to be Head of Assurance & Compliance. In this role he supports assurance and compliance policies in UK and also travels to support NDM’s foreign operations. He is currently looking to set up a Trading subsidiary to allow investments in spinouts and in Joint Ventures for Nuffield Department of Medicine.

Ben has also led assurance improvements including implementing the new sanctions policies for the University as well as improving fraud mitigation controls. He is also a member of Reuben College’s Finance Committee, and a board member of seven University subsidiary companies including Arch Kenya, and is Chair of the Boards of Oxford University Fixed Assets Limited, Oxford University Trading, and Oxford Research South Africa Limited.
