Domestic Bursar

Kellogg College

Chris joined Kellogg College as Domestic Bursar in June 2025.

Chris is a former school PE teacher, turned sports scientist, turned higher education professional. He has spent the past 25+ years studying and working within higher education environments and joins us from Wolfson College where he led a pioneering decarbonisation project to create Oxford’s first zero carbon College. He regularly advises other Oxbridge Colleges, Universities and public sector bodies around the UK regarding sustainability initiatives and decarbonisation strategies, as well as other operational efficiency initiatives. He previously worked in accommodation, IT and campus operations at Brunel University London, where he played a pivotal role in achieving an Investors in people Gold Award, led many new build construction projects and instilled an ethos of continuing improvement whilst enhancing the student experience. He will be leading our domestic operations at Kellogg, being responsible for Health & Safety, Accommodation, Catering and Events, Estates Operations and Maintenance to name a few.

Chris’s leadership will be crucial in fostering the student experience in Kellogg and working with the Finance Bursar to enhance services and facilities whilst strategically positioning the College to cement it’s position of being the home for inclusive, diverse, accessible and leading graduate education in Oxford.
