Dr Elizabeth Gibson-Morgan

Elizabeth Gibson-Morgan is a Professor at the University of Poitiers (France). She is a former Visiting Senior Research Fellow in Constitutional Law at King’s College. Her current research is on the Westminster Parliament (including House of Lords reform), constitutional change in the UK and France, devolution, post-Brexit Britain and Franco-British relations.

Her most significant publications include the following books she edited or co-edited:

From the Entente Cordiale to New Ententes (Newcastle upon Tyne: Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2025); Fighting for Justice. Common Law and Civil Law judges. Threats and Challenges (Cardiff: University of Wales Press, 2021).

She is also the author of Constitutional Reform in Britain and France: From Human Rights to Brexit (Cardiff: University of Wales Press, 2017). She is a member of the General Committee of the Franco-British Lawyers’ Society.
