Jennifer Hirst is a Senior Research Fellow in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences leading a programme of work in women’s health and health inequalities. She has over 15 years’ experience in medical research utilising different methodological approaches including epidemiological studies, primary clinical data collection studies, qualitative methods and systematic reviews and meta-analysis. She regularly contributes to teaching activities including MSc and DPhil supervision and teaching a module on meta-analysis as part of the Evidence-Based Healthcare, Medical Statistics and Systematic Review masters programmes. Jenny is the as deputy lead for the Department of Primary Care’s Athena Swan initiative.
