Jesús Reiné is a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford, specialising in the development of innovative immunological methods and biomarkers for CL-2 and CL-3 settings. His research focuses on mucosal immune responses to respiratory pathogens, host-pathogen interactions during bacterial-viral co-infections, the design of multi-epitope vaccines, and the immunology of parasitic and tropical diseases. With extensive expertise in flow cytometry (conventional and spectral) applied to complex clinical and high-containment studies, he has contributed to vaccine development, methodological standardisation, and advanced multi-parametric panel design.

He is also deeply engaged in teaching and training, having participated in the delivery of master’s courses, student supervision, and workshops in both immunology and flow cytometry. He also holds an honorary position as a research fellow at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, and is an honorary Senior Lecturer in Immunology at the School of Medicine, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, as well as a visiting researcher at Centro de Estudios en Salud, Universidad del Valle de Guatemala.
