PhD (Politecnico di Milano, Italy)
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Welcome centre for Integrative Neuroimaging.
I completed my undergraduate studies and a PhD in Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano (Italy) before moving to University of Oxford as a postdoctoral researcher and then Alzheimer’s Association research fellow.
My research experience and interest is in neuroimaging methods (specifically brain Magnetic Resonance Imaging – MRI) and their application to ageing, dementia, and neurodegeneration, with the ultimate goal of making research translational and applicable in clinical settings.
I am involved in postgraduate supervision and I teach on the MSc in Clinical and Therapeutic Neuroscience, MSc in Experimental and Translational Therapeutics, Oxford Clinical Neuroimaging Course, and FSL course.
