Dr Mairi Gibbs is Chief Executive Officer at Oxford University Innovation (OUI).  She has worked at OUI (formerly Isis Innovation) since 2002 in various commercial and operational roles including Chief Operating Officer, gaining extensive practical experience in technology transfer, including work to develop the University’s innovation framework to meet current and future needs.

Mairi is a Registered Technology Transfer Practitioner, and a volunteer trainer with Knowledge Exchange UK. She originally trained as a chemist, spending a few years in industry running a small research team after her PhD.
