Monserrat is an interdisciplinary researcher with a special interest in how knowledge is mobilised into policy and practice. Working with the Cancer Research Group at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Monserrat explores how a novel cancer screening test can be implemented in primary care in the UK, and am developing a horizon scanning strategy on multi-cancer tests. As part of her wider academic services, she co-lead and served as an editorial lead for the Cochrane Global Ageing Thematic Group. Being an expert member of the WHO lifecourse network, she frequently provide input to the work packages being developed as part of the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing.
