Ms Rasmeet Chadha

Head of Optometry

Rasmeet Chadha, MSc, BSc (Hons), MCOptom, is Head of Optometry at Oxford Eye Hospital, where she leads clinical services and promotes the development and delivery of high quality, collaborative, patient-centred eye care. With extensive experience in hospital optometry, she has a particular clinical and research interest in paediatric visual impairment, focusing on improving outcomes and quality of life for children and young people with sight loss.

Rasmeet Chadha has played an active role in the profession through her work with the College of Optometrists, serving as both a Trustee and Council Member. In these roles, she has contributed to the strategic direction of the profession, supporting standards of practice, education, and professional development. Rasmeet also has a long-standing and ongoing interest in education, demonstrated through her work as a visiting examiner at UMIST Manchester, City St George’s, University of London, and the University of Hertfordshire.
