Xingyu Qiu (Philip) received his DPhil in Chemistry from the University of Oxford under the supervision of Prof. Dame Carol V. Robinson FRS at the Kavli Institute for Nanoscience Discovery and continues his research in Prof. Robinson’s group. His research focuses on the structural analysis of GPCR activation mechanisms using native mass spectrometry and hydrogen–deuterium exchange mass spectrometry. He completed his undergraduate studies at Oxford, with a final-year project on switchable fluorescent dyes for super-resolution microscopy. Outside of his academic work, he has a strong interest in historical studies and enjoys hiking.
