Dining Hall
Kellogg’s Dining Hall is at the heart of the College. We do not have a high table, so students, staff, Fellows, alumni and all other College members mingle with one another, taking the opportunity to share, support and make connections that can last a lifetime.
The College has an excellent reputation for the quality of its food, and there is always a variety of meal options that includes soups and salads, vegan or vegetarian main courses, and of course, delicious desserts.
Information and updates for College members:
- From Monday to Friday during term time, the Dining Hall provides lunches (12:00-13:45) and dinners (18:00-19:00) to all Kellogg members and their guests. They may also be available out of term, please check dates below.
- On Guest Night Dinner evenings, regular College dinner will be served between 5.15pm – 6.00pm, in the form of a buffet with limited seats in the Dining hall.

Guidance on booking and bringing guests
Generally, it is not necessary to book College lunches and dinners for yourself in advance; however, we recommend you arrive as close to the meal’s start time as possible.
If you are bringing more than one personal guest to a college lunch or dinner, they must be booked 48 hours in advance by emailing hospitality@kellogg.ox.ac.uk.
Due to the demand during meal times, if you bring more than 1 guest without booking, we will not be able to accommodate your guests.
When you book, there is a maximum limit of 2 personal guests for most lunch and dinner days.
All guest meals must be paid for (via Upay or bank card, non Amex) by the hosting Kellogg student. Guests may not attend without a Kellogg host. If you wish to bring multiple guests visiting your department or research centre to a College meal, these must be booked via events@kellogg.ox.ac.uk. Subsidised guest rates do not apply for such bookings.
Dining Hall meals are for dine-in only and not available to takeout.
We will always do our best to cater to any special dietary requirements (e.g. gluten free, dairy free). Please notify hospitality@kellogg.ox.ac.uk at least two working days in advance to ensure that an appropriate meal can be provided if possible.
Guest Night Dinners are very popular, so places need to be booked in advance.
