This event is part of Welcome Weeks 2025 and open to all Freshers and continuing students.

Kellogg College is home to several research centres, each leading work in areas that connect academic insight with real-world impact. Our centres not only conduct research but also host a wide range of events, including seminars that are free to attend and open to all.

Join us for this lecture-style event to learn more about the breadth of research at Kellogg and discover how you can get involved.

Professor Jonathan Michie, President of Kellogg College, will chair the session and introduce three speakers who will each present on their centre’s work.

Speakers:

Dr Ana Nacvalovaite, Sovereign Wealth Funds Research Fellow

Dr Juliet Carpenter, Senior Research Fellow and GCHU Director of Research

Professor Susan Downes, Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Oxford Eye Hospital and Oxford University Hospitals University Foundation Trust. She is also a Professor of Ophthalmology, and Deputy Lead for the Nuffield Laboratory of Ophthalmology, University of Oxford.

This is a great opportunity to hear first-hand about the work of our centres, meet researchers, and explore whether you might like to participate in future projects or events.

Please email academic.office@kellogg.ox.ac.uk if you are unable to attend after booking.

Open to: Freshers, Students,
