Join us for an intimate evening with Joe Taranov, a travelling musician devoted to dialogue between cultures. With the sarangi, he brings the ancient voice of Indian classical music; with the oud, he unfolds the colours of Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern traditions. Guided by improvisation, each performance becomes a meeting of East and West-a flow of sound that connects memory, poetry, and the present moment.

Across two hours, Joe will weave short explanations into the music: how ragas shape mood, how maqam inflects melody, and how instruments speak differently in different spaces.

This is a relaxed, conversational concert-perfect for curious listeners, first-timers, and seasoned music-lovers alike.
