Bletchley Park: Fact and Fiction - Listen to the podcast
April 6, 2020
On the 12 March, as part of our Bletchley Park Week series of events, we held a panel discussion exploring how historical events, in particular the wartime codebreakers and their work at Bletchley Park, have been depicted in documentaries and fictional accounts, and asking if and where we should draw a line in creating fact-based dramas.
Panellists included: Sir Dermot Turing (author and nephew of Enigma codebreaker Alan Turing); writer, producer, director, and head of drama at Ten66 Television, Jamie Nuttgens; and novelist, journalist, and educational campaigner, Melissa Benn.
