As Kellogg College prepares for a new academic year, and Freshers begin to arrive and settle in, we are also taking a moment to reflect on a remarkable year that came to a close with the end of the summer.

We invite you to join us by exploring the latest edition of Connect, Kellogg College’s annual magazine. Recently published online, Connect 2025, celebrates the achievements of our vibrant, international community. It is packed with stories from students, Fellows, staff, and alumni, and highlights the many ways the College continues to engage with the world.

Among the feature articles is a piece on our newest Bynum Tudor Fellow, renowned broadcaster and journalist Mishal Husain. She gave a talk to mark the inauguration of her Fellowship, in which she offered a deeply personal narrative of how she wrote a book tracing the lives of her four grandparents against the tumultuous backdrop of empire, independence, and the partition of India. Another highlight from the magazine explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and creativity in a feature on AI and Music, a topic central to current debates about innovation, ethics, and the future of the arts.

Connect also shines a spotlight on the achievements of Kellogg students and alumni across diverse fields, including sustainability and urban design, art and drama, entrepreneurship, and social impact. These stories illustrate the breadth of talent within the College community, and the impact Kellogg graduates continue to have long after their time in Oxford.

Alongside alumni achievements, the magazine offers an inside look at College life, highlighting research initiatives, student activities beyond academia, and distinctive experiences that define Kellogg. From an inclusive culture to a pioneering spirit, Connect captures the essence of a community built around lifelong learning.

The new issue is now available to read online, offering inspiration and insight from across the College.
