I am a research fellow at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford and a tutor at the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine.

My research interests involve lifestyle medicine, including the role of physical activity and exercise as a preventative and treatment strategy for non-communicable diseases, the use of new technologies in primary care and the effective communication of research evidence to patients and the public.

I also enjoy teaching about evidence based medicine and have enjoyed tutoring people from all over the world including undergraduates, postgraduates and professionals. I am very much enjoying my EBM learning process and am keen to share these experiences with others interested in the topic.

My others passions in life are my family, my dog, friends and my second ‘job’ – practising and teaching the art of Capoeira.
