David Nunan is a research fellow at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford and a tutor at the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine.

His research interests involve lifestyle medicine, including the role of physical activity and exercise as a preventative and treatment strategy for non-communicable diseases, the use of new technologies in primary care and the effective communication of research evidence to patients and the public.

He also enjoys teaching about evidence based medicine and has enjoyed tutoring people from all over the world including undergraduates, postgraduates and professionals. He is very much enjoying his EBM learning process and is keen to share these experiences with others interested in the topic.

His other passions in life are his family, his dog, friends and his second ‘job’ – practising and teaching the art of Capoeira.
