Administrative Officer
Global Centre on Healthcare and Urbanisation
Jessie is the principal administrative officer for the Global Centre on Healthcare and Urbanisation. She is responsible for the general administration and research facilitation of the GCHU, which includes management of research awards and donations, budgeting and forecasting, being secretary to GCHU committees, websites and social media management, event planning and office management.
Jessie has worked at the University of Oxford for nine years in various roles in central administration departments. In addition to her current role with GCHU, Jessie is the elected Transgender Representative on the University’s LGBT+ Advisory Board, and a Co-Leader of the University’s EDI Community of Practice.
Jessie is an award-winning apprentice, having won the 2025 Higher/Degree Apprentice of the Year award and the 2023 University of Oxford Higher Apprentice Award. She graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Business and Management Practice (BA Hons) attained through a Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship.
