Mr Prakhyat Gailani

Postdoctoral Research Assistant

As a research software engineer and web developer at University of Oxford, Prakhyat applies his skills and knowledge in Vue, React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 to create user-friendly and efficient web applications for various research projects. He has been in this role as a member of Data Readiness Group since July-2022 and enjoys collaborating with researchers, academics, and other developers to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions.

Prior to joining University of Oxford, he built skills and know-how in the software industry for 10 years. His professional experience includes requirement gathering, conducting detailed analysis to understand exactly what users need from a given website or application and then conceptualizing features that meet those needs. His mission is to leverage his expertise in UI/UX design and web development to create impactful and accessible software that enhances user experience and satisfaction.
